We are extremely passionate about the sports of IGP (schutzhund) and Mondioring, and are pleased to be bringing high quality training to the central KY area. Our trainer Sam Adams has been on the podium at national championships in both IGP and Mondioring, and we have multiple students currently titling in both sports. Our field in Winchester has a full set of IGP jumps and blinds, a full set of Mondioring jumps, as well as mondioring hides, obstacles, and training props.
Decoy Working Weekends
We bring in a decoy for bite work training once or twice a month for a two day period, and this option is open to both our club members and outside folks. Working weekends are held either at our facility in Winchester, KY, or at an indoor facility that we rent in the winter in Frankfort, KY.
Our next working weekend is November 1-2 with USMRA level 2 decoy Anthony Sagstetter, who is available to work mondioring and IGP dogs at our place in Winchester, KY. Price is $75 per dog per day, each dog gets 2 sessions per day. Contact us to reserve a spot!
Dog Sport Club
Our club, Central Kentucky Schutzhund, meets a few times a month to track, do obedience, and work aspects of our protection work, including blind searches and building transports and other exercises. Club is open to those who have taken at least 5 private lessons with Sam and are familiar with our training system.
Private Lessons
We do offer private lessons for tracking and obedience for those training for IGP and Mondioring. All breeds and ages welcome, and this is a great option for those getting started in the sport or looking to take their dog to the next level.
This option is $100 per lesson.
Sport Board and train
We have a very popular sport puppy board and train option for those who want to give their new sport prospect the very best start to their career. Puppies live in my house with me, get multiple daily training sessions, travel to club sessions and get sport specific socialization, and get work on both sport skills and life skills. This program is fully customizable to your goals for your puppy, and can include getting your puppy rolling with :

- positions (sit, down, stand)
- retrieves
- body awareness and coordination
- tracking
- solid play skills
- everyday life skills
- age appropriate socialization
