Leia (name can be changed) is a Boxer puppy with a bright future ahead of her! Her parents are both stellar examples of the Boxer breed, with her father being a service dog and breed ambassador. Leia is a sweet, social girl who is learning a lot at a very early age. Leia is learning: potty training, crate training, manners, obedience foundations, socialization, and other life skills. She travels great in the car, and has been exposed to lots of people, dogs, noises, ground surfaces, and new places. She will walk up and down stairs, and walk on a leash.
Leia has been raised in a home environment versus a kennel setting, so she is ready to go be a great addition to your family. Like most Boxer’s, Leia is very friendly and active, and loves to play with her person. She is very social with other dogs, and is respectful of adult dogs. Her play drive with toys is above average for a Boxer, and she is learning a game of retrieve. She is great for baths and nail trims, and is an angel at the vet office. Leia loves to go for car rides, and to take trips to pet friendly stores and parks. She should be an average size for a female boxer, and won’t be oversized.
Leia can sleep in her crate for 8-9 hours during the night without accidents, and without complaints. She knows sit, down, wait, kennel, place, and a release command (“Break”). As she continues on with her training, Leia will continue to learn new commands and skills, and will be proofed against a wide variety of real world distractions. Unlike most places that have a trained boxer for sale, we stand by the health of our dogs. Leia comes with a 26 month health guarantee on her hips and elbows, to give you peace of mind.
Leia’s go home date is March 31st. She will be fully on and off leash trained at that time. In order to reserve Leia, a deposit of $1000 is required. Contact us for your puppy application, and once you are approved, we can move forward with the adoption process.
